Please help me out in this, i am new to coral draw, and it would be really helpful in my work if i get this problem sorted out, I need to export the autocad file to corel draw file with the same scale. I have tried doing it many times but every time there are breaking of lines happening which is the real problem and then it takes me hours to again draw it on coral.
Please suggest any solution for this. Thank you. Definitely some great tips there Anand and some I will try out - thank you sir! Anikta - you can also ask your production chaps who are supplying the ACAD files to put a 1cm x 1cm or 1" x 1" reference block on the drawing then you can easily see what is going wrong with 'scaling' between the programmes when you import. You might be importing metric to imperial or vice versa. Anand - In my case I had most of the functionality of closing vector paths of "X5" or "X6" when using X3 - this is because I was using Curveworks and other tools.
I think this means I can qualify to have often been oblivious or slightly ignorant to ways of doing good artwork or vectors via 'native' Corel menus.
Seemingly, Corel does get better and better with age - but they did take a while to catch up their main 'macro' developers and what they was doing with vectors. By that time i was 'sold' on macros and 'never looked back'.
