Girl programs

Our trained staff develop locally-focused programs that ensure girls are exposed to new experiences. Informed by girls and their families, we tackle the systemic barriers that affect the conditions in which girls are growing up, particularly those with the fewest resources.

We work to ensure girls have the knowledge, resources, and skills to live healthy lives and access meaningful educational opportunities. We also advocate for policies that combat sexual violence and support girls who experience trauma. In doing this work, we engage girls themselves, as well as local leaders and other stakeholders. Our library of resources covers a wide range of topics including healthy relationships, economic literacy, girls and sexuality, and effective mentoring.

Our Creative Electronics Program introduces 5th grade girls to technology and engineering through engagement in hands-on projects and valuable exposure to various engineering disciplines through making and design.

The after-school programs consist of hands-on projects where girls will design and build projects that encourage girls to expand their technical skills and community and team building activities that will create a strong sense of belonging to a supportive community of girls interested in technology.
