This one has been designed to have open space like a loft, with high ceilings, and there's definitely more area taken up by tables in the center, framed by two of those newer padded benches, and a lot of comfy chairs down the long side of the store.
There's also quite a bit of covered outdoor seating that wraps around the front and side of the store. If you're looking for places to plug in, there are a few outlets inside, but as always, look down at your feet if you're sitting on one of those benches, and you're covered. There's also at least one outdoor outlet box. The scenery isn't the greatest here in southwest Dallas, but they're really working to revive this area: Watch them revive Red Bird Mall behind you if you're a regular visitor.
Notable also is the conference room at the back of the store. It has folding doors that look like they'll provide a barrier to the hustle and bustle in the rest of the store, and as mentioned above, educational classes are held here. The big table looks to hold about a dozen people, and presumably, there's room to plug in your gadgets when school's in session. The wi-fi signal is what you'd expect from a Starbucks, but it's surprising that they didn't add a little more bandwidth in case the conference room needs it.

In the past, the free Wi-Fi at Starbucks was convenient, but the slower network speeds limited what a professional could do. It was good for checking email and to surf basic websites. But if you wanted to do a Skype business call, you were going to have problems. With a 10X increase in speeds, Starbucks is going to be the top destination for all remote and mobile business workers.
